Dogs Visit Fullerton Boys and Girls Club

Posted On: 03-27-2014

A lively group of 40 elementary age kids filled the activity room at the Fullerton Boys and Girls Club while they sat with eager anticipation for their chance to meet “Mickey” a 1-year old Doxie mix and “Dolphin” a 2-year old Chihuahua mix from WAGS Pet Adoption, Westminster. The pair were visiting the Fullerton Boys and Girls Club in advance of the America’s Family Pet Expo (April 25-27 at the OC Fair & Event Center) where the pups will be available for adoption. Shelter Coordinator, Cortney Dorney, brought in the rescued pair as “education ambassadors” to teach the kids about pet care and responsibility of owning a pet, one of the missions of WAGS and the America’s Family Pet Expo.
