W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Show Comes to America’s Family Pet Expo

The Arabian horse is known for its intelligence, its speed, and its grace.  From ancient times on, it has been a horse that has been respected and revered, and the W.K. Kellogg Ariabian Horse Show at America’s Family Pet Expo showcases the versatility and beauty that make the Arabian horse one of the most romanced and reputable horses today.

The Arabian horse can be traced back to ancient times and was considered a war horse that could withstand the harsh conditions of the desert while traveling long distances with enough stamina and agility to move quickly while in battle.  These characteristics have continued to define the Arabian horse, as does its intelligence and beauty.  That is what attracted W.K. Kellogg (founder of Kellogg Cereals) to these incredible animals. In 1925, Kellogg established an Arabian horse ranch in Pomona, California.  Every Sunday afternoon he would hold an exhibition of the horses, and because of the incredible tricks and abilities the horses demonstrated, the popularity of the shows and of the Arabian horses spread. In 1949, Kellogg donated his ranch to the state of California, and now Cal Poly Pomona continues to showcase the Arabian horse through its Arabian Horse Show.

The Arabian horse is an amazing animal, an animal that can’t be truly appreciated until you see it in action.  Through the W. K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Show, America’s Family Pet Expo is giving you that opportunity.  Whether you are an equine enthusiast or a casual observer, come to the W. K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Show April 15-17 at the Orange County Fair & Events Center.  You won’t regret it.
